There is a children's education garden and numerous interesting hands-on activities for young children to enjoy.
Also to be enjoyed are the regular exhibitions of "Art in The Garden" with exhibits carefully placed in the natural landscape.
A stunning National Trust property with nationally renowned rose collection and amazing Drawing Room decorated in the trompe I'oeil style by Rex Whistler in 1938, definitley worth a visit any time of year but June is best for viewing the rose garden.
Fantastic adventure for all the family, even the very young. 2009 saw the new "Edge" ride opening providing great new thrills and spills! There's bouncy castles, "Tractor Trekking" and "Land of the Dinosaurs" as well as a collection of animals and birds. A great day out.
